Whether a novice rider or a bicycle enthusiast, Kent Cycle offers an educational opportunity for you.

From safety checks and basic road side maintenance to full tune ups and more detailed service jobs, we've got you covered.

*NEW for the month of February 2019*

We are offering One on One clinics for the month of February. Expect each class to run at least an hour but up to 2 hours. The mechanic will provide a syllabus that will outline the course information. Be prepared to take notes as this is only meant as a guide. Bring the bicycle that you would like to learn how to maintain. The mechanic will give you all of the information required to complete the task on your bicycle.

Each class requires a non refundable prepayment at the time the class is scheduled. If a conflict arises for the time chosen, you may reschedule with a 24 hour notice. During the class, the mechanic will go over everything you need to know to do each job properly. This will include all components involved as well as the specific tools required for each task.

CLINICS:

Brakes: $50

basic maintenance of the brake system

Drivetrain: $75

basic maintenance of the drivetrain system

Basic Tune: $100

basic maintenance of the brake system and the drivtrain system

Full Tune: $150

the basic tune up course with the addition of wheel alignment, hub adjustment and hanger alignment

All courses cover maintenance. Additional fees may be added if you are interested in parts replacement as this requires more detailed instruction.

To schedule a clinic please choose a few dates and times that work for you and we can check the mechanics schedule.

Weekly Women's Ride

Join us Fridays during the warmer months to ride the trails and make new friends.

We leave from Kent Cycle and generally ride 20 miles or less on the local bike trails.  Don't let the mileage intimedate you.  If you can ride for an hour to an hour and a half you've got this!  These are no drop rides so no one will be left behind.  All riders are encouraged to join.

We strongly encourage helmets and expect safe, responsible riding.

Check Facebook for updated weekly info.
